List of Father’s Rights Organizations

Tuesday, April 4th, 2006

While doing some research for the second edition of my Father’s Rights Book, I came across this list of men’s rights and father’s rights organizations at Menstuff.Org.

Opening Day

Monday, April 3rd, 2006

It’s opening day for baseball. That’s my little tyke at second base.

Take your kid to a game. Sign up to be an assistant coach for little league. It’s good for you and it’s good for your children.

I know it is hard to find time when you are the provider and have a career, but be a real dad and participate in the parenting of your children.

Otherwise mom’s lawyer will be cross examining you like this. “And isn’t it true that you never went to even one of little Jimmy’s ball games?” Posted by Picasa

Magnetix Toy a Safety Hazard for Children

Saturday, April 1st, 2006

Magnets were a favorite toy when I was growing up. So how could I resist buying the modern day magnetic toy for my todler? It has lots of magnets encased in colorful plastic building rods and blocks.

It turns out that the magnets can come loose and several kids around the country have swallowed or enhaled them. Apparently two of these little magnets inside you can cause all kinds of damage and have even caused a couple of deaths around the country.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a recall. If you have a Magnetix toy around your house, take it away from your toddler. You can get a substitute and safer toy for free at this website.
